Export Control Information
The software is subject to
United States export laws and regulations. You must comply with all
domestic and international export laws and regulations that apply to
software. These laws include restrictions on destinations, end users and
end use.
Fiddler can generate password-protected traffic archives.
These default to weak encryption (96bit) but there
exists a checkbox
option to enable strong 256bit AES encryption. Per the
compression library vendor, the
Traffic Archive's AES encryption routines included with Fiddler are
classified as ECCN 5D002.
To interact with HTTPS traffic, Fiddler relies upon
the cryptographic libraries that ship with the Windows Operating System.
