FiddlerCap Icon Capturing web traffic logs from Firefox

Introduction

Firefox does not automatically use the System Proxy, meaning you must manually configure Firefox to use FiddlerCap.

Firefox Configuration Instructions

  1. Start Firefox.
  2. Click Tools > Options.
  3. Click the Network tab.
  4. Click Settings.
  5. Make a note of the settings on this screen.
  6. Adjust the settings to the values shown in the following image.
  7. Click Ok.
  8. When you're done capturing, go back to this screen and change the settings back.

Set Firefox proxy to 127.0.0.1:8889
